1987
In 1987, Ulf Ekman, pastor of the "Word of Life" Church in Uppsala, Sweden, received a vision: an open door to what was then the Soviet Union, vast whitened fields ready for harvest, and a tremendous "explosion" of faith that would light up the entire nation of Russia.
1994
In 1994, Bible seminars began in Moscow, led by Kalle and Ingrid Lilja.
1994
1995
In 1995, Christian community leaders united to revive the Russian Union of Evangelical Faith Christians, later renamed the Russian United Union of Evangelical Faith Christians (ROSEFC). The union's primary mission became the revival of moral public values and contributing to the establishment of a multireligious civil society.

Today
Currently, we are a large church with a congregation of thousands. The Lord has raised many spiritual leaders, and now the church encompasses over 300 different groups and ministries, where brothers and sisters in Christ care for one another. Services are held not only in the main church building but also in other areas of Moscow and the Moscow region.

Foundations of Our Faith
1
The Bible is the living Word of God and the revelation of His truth. It serves as the guide and standard for life and a source of knowledge about God's will. We read and interpret the Bible through the Holy Spirit.
2
There is only one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three Persons of the Trinity are coequal and eternal. Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, is both fully God and fully man.
3
Jesus Christ is humanity's sole hope for reconciliation with God. Through faith in Him—His crucifixion for humanity's sins and His resurrection—we receive forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.
4
Through salvation, a person becomes a child of God and a part of His family—the Church. This is confirmed by the inner witness of the Spirit. The same Spirit calls us to transform into the image of Christ through a life of dedication, holiness, and love.
5
Baptism in water is a sacrament symbolizing a believer's burial with Christ in death and resurrection into a new life with Him.
6
Every born-again believer can seek baptism in the Holy Spirit, which fills us with spiritual power for life and ministry to the Lord. Speaking in new tongues is one of the outward signs of Spirit baptism.
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into the realm of the dead; on the third day, He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there, He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the dead, and the life everlasting. Amen.
